New Sony Ericsson Bluetooth kit released - supports 5 phones and glows red ;-)
I may be interested in getting this since the Cullmann adapter I installed yesterday turned out to be horrible. Can anyone tell me how good the sound is on their Sony-Ericsson Bluetooth kits they have installed? Does it annoy the caller? Is the sound clear in the car? Does it use the stereo's speakers? Does it use the car's built in Mic? Does it auto-mute the stereo? Note, I have the Bose stereo with the Concert head unit.
Thanks.

It used the SE mike, don't even try to integrate the Audi internal mike.
it's very clean listening, but my callers still say that I sound like I'm in a tunnel. It's the nature of the beast I guess.
use i way cool though.
When the phone rings, it starts to ring through the speaker, then the radio cuts out, and the ring tone gradually increases. All I need to do is say 'Answer' and the system picks up the call, keeping my hands on the wheel.
I can say 'Busy' and it goes into v-mail.
When the caller hangs up, the radio comes back on.
Pic of the install.

I may just have to follow your lead and will probably ask you to also send me your latest and greatest iPod adapter. But I will get back to you on both as I have a few other mods that need to get installed.
The PR Splash page did say that the HCB-300 "integrates completely with your existing audio system". Any idea on how they would do this or if it is just marketing fluff?
Thanks.
