and was wondering whether a CVT model w/Blizzaks for the winter was sufficient or should it be a quattro. TIA!

Default There is no cvt available on the TT. I assume you mean fwd
vs quattro. I have a fwd 180 which goes fine with snows on it (I have 16 inch steel wheels with Dunlop wintersport M-2's); obviously, quattro would be better in the winter and/or rain. If an automatic TT is what you want, that is only available with fwd. If you want quattro and "automatic" buy a 3.2 with the DSG trans which has an auto mode. By the way, I don't think you're interrupting. I think all Audi drivers should be welcome on any Audi forum; I peruse and sometimes post on other forums. Welcome.

TT 's only came in Merlot, Pinot, a few Chards, but definitely no Cabernet
