Default Recent Mod impressions: Turn 2 pulley and EH manifold.....>

Finally got the car on the road this morning...Hard to quantify Just the EH mods because I put a lightened Turn 2 pulley on while the car was apart. The combination is VERY nice. Noticeable improvements in responsiveness primarily. The engine seems to spin easier, feels "lighter" if you get the idea. The engine feels happier with it's new stuff! I'm sure a good part of this is from removing a few pounds from the crank. The EH is making some noticeable instrumented differences as well. My A/F gauge seems to register one segment leaner, both in closed loop and on the gas. Still registering on the rich side of Stoiciometric. My conclusion is that the EH definitely is flowing more air (15% per EH flow tests) therefore requiring a different amount of intervention from O2 #1 for correction. ECU is not adapted yet so this may change. The fact that max boost is down a touch may indicate air is slipping through the manifold easier as well. This could also be a change in barometric pressure as the Boost Machine regulator does require seasonal adjustments. A 1/2 turn and it's back to old levels though. Bottom line is the car is better, smoother, faster than ever before...

Default Is the "Turn 2" similar to the one ECS sells? how easy is it?

If it's a noticable improvement, I might do it during my timing belt [which I'm thinking to do at 70k miles].

Default No...It's different...>

Just a lightened crank pulley. The ECS system is a 3 pulley set that runs in underdrive mode.

Would the underdrive mode have more gains compared to just a lightened pulley?

With a list of mods as long as yours it must be getting hard to figure out which mods are 'must have' mods but I bet a lot of n00bs would like to see your list at some point.

Your car looks very sharp. Looking forward to seeing it (and you, of course!) at TTE.

Default Yes. but at a cost...>>

TT's are very sensitive electrically. Underdriving accessories could have a negative effect on charging condidtions. I know Chris (axeyrcat) is not real happy he went this route...
