Hood release problem

Default Hood release problem
Pulling the hood release lever in the car does not release the hood..I have already tried the screwdriver and coat hanger method without much success. Anything else I can try?

Have you tried pushing down on your hood? Some times they stick.

Default Try going over a slight bump while holding the hood lever in the open ...
position.It might jar it loose.

Can I go thru the grill to pry it open with a screwdriver??

Default I'm not really sure but I would try to finesse it if you do. You can probably make things worse ...
w/ the screwdriver.

Default What about....
I remove the belly pan from under the car and approach it from underneath??
