i have both the front bushings (to copy mkI arms) and the swaybar bushings. swaybar didn't fit, but i'll get that handled. for the control arms, you need to remove the stock bushings and i'm curious how hard it is to do. they say to cut one end off and shove it through, but i somehow doubt it'll be that easy. i don't want to be out there with a torch and molten rubber is all.

Default haven't done the control arm bushings yet... soon though. i just did the pendulum mount bushings on

saturday... WONDERFUL difference, and only $25! took me 15 minutes. high-rpm downshifting is much smoother, and engine movement/rocking in general has been reduced.

also, i think you'll need to press the bushings out.

Default Use an 1/8th in. drill bit to dig out some of the rubber first.

I used this technique on my KMACs and it turned a bitch into a breeze. Aint no goin back once you start though.

Default Had mine done last week.

Still evaluating. It is not a night and day difference. I also had new tires put on (Goodyear F1s) so it is hard to tell exactly what the contribution of the bushings are. Steering seems a bit "lighter".

My mechanic thought the install was a bit of a pain in that there were no instructions. Other than figuring out orientations and whatnot, he did not report any problems.
