Default ooh boy, just got back from vacation to find ...

my euro mirrors and euro lower dash have arrived! the dash looks and feels terrific -- i have no idea what people who say this dash piece is of inferior quality are talking about -- yes, it's not as (needlessly) heavy as the stock dash, but it's by no means flimsy -- and it feels just as nice as the u.s. dash. i can't wait to install it this weekend and reclaim my glove box!

Default Cool, hope you don't swear too much when you go to install the dash.

It can be a PITA! Have fun.

Default I think people feel the lack of insulation will make rattling louder...

plus it is very easy to get a rattle going on under there with all the wiring- myself personally I have a lot of "equipment" wired back under there. Looks nice though, thought about doing it myself.. will do it if I decide to "install" switches for various said "equipment"

Euro mirrors though are hot, and I have been meaning to get a set, been too busy planning TT-Midwest, keep forgetting to order a set while I am at home. Got to get some wheels and summer rubber first though- must focus.. must focus... must focus ;-)

Default hey... after how many times I have removed and reinstalled it gets MUCH easier

kinda like how some people can pull the front bumper cover off in 20 minutes. Only PITA now for the lower dash is the top clips, always takes a few slams for them to catch

Default I am not saying it WILL rattle... just that it might rattle more

Personally I like the euro lower dash, my stuff is more secured under there then the factorys stuff, so I am not worried, but with less insulation= more possible noise. Probibly be easier to install since it is a lighter piece
