Group Buy Feeler: 18x8.5" SSR GT7's
I haven't talked to any advertisers yet...just gauging interest at this point. If you're interested, please respond to this thread. Please don't post your email...I'm just gauging numbers at this point.

18x8.5", ET35mm
Approx 19 lbs
Semi solid forged (less expensive than true forged wheels)
2 pc welded construction
Approx. cost $400/wheel
Availability:
Late Spring/Early Summer. This is a new wheel, so suppliers might not be willing to organize a group buy yet.

Anthracite w/machined lip GT7:

That should be 18x8 ET 32.... they don't may a 8.5" TT fitment
at least not thats comming to the US... the 18x8 is what tire rack lists for the TT on their site
But I say no group buy!!! for three reasons
1) these are the wheels I want and I cannot afford them right now... even on a group buy (lost my job)
2) They are new and different and no one has them!! if there was a group buy then everyone else would have them first
3) because I say so lol!

Thanks for the info! I wasn't aware of the offset difference on the 5X110 wheels.
As for the rest...hurry up and get a job!!! :-P
Seriously, it doesn't appear that there is much interest in these wheels so far. In order to get 10 solid orders, I'd expect to see at least 20 posts indicating interest. So far, I've seen about 4, and none very enthusiastic (except for me and you).
Odds are, if I buy rims this summer, these will be the ones...group buy or not.

tirerack only list "proper" fitment...e.g., the SL3's they list for the TT does not
include 18x9 or 19x9, but IS available. Dani, you may want to research another source. I thought Tirerack was the sole SSR importer when I bought my GT3's, but there are more out there! You just have to look.
