Default Z3 -vs- TT

Drove my brother-in-law to-be's Z3 roadster yesterday and had some fun. His is a 2.8 liter I6 (a special edition with sport suspension, nice 18" BBS wheels, etc.) I'd guess it was rated around 215 hp? Overall I was pleasantly suprised. I'm really not a huge fan of the way they look, but after a 15 minutes in the twisties of NY state, I was definitely grinning.

It handles much better than I thought it would, feels _very_ balanced and no understeer. The 2.8 felt a bit less peppy than my chipped 180 in the lower range, but at 80 mph, it sounded and felt great.

Top down, 80 mph, and we could still carry on a conversation...

Down side is that it's only a 5 speed, does anyone know if the newer ones are 6?

If I had winter vehicle, I'd consider one (assuming they clean up the body!).

Default Drove for about 45 minutes...

Didn't feel bad at all, but you never can tell until you have your butt parked in it for a long period!
