DO Not go to Crown AUTO body IN greensboro NC!!! heres why..
its been 2 months now on a one month job, minor front end collision, after 3 weeks it was supposed to be done, they realized they didnt order a new dashboard since the airbags came out . Had to order that in. After that, they somehow couldnt get any of the doors to open. there goes another week. AFter they finally got the doors open it took another week to get the dash in. Well now the dash is in and was supposed to get the car today at 4. I called today and they went to install the air bag and they ordered the wrong air bag!!!! so they r now waiting for that to come in, what to do?? im so F**** frustrated at this company!!!

Good example why you want to come to this forum asking 4 recommendations BEFORE u select body shop!
I have also had good luck with the regional forums when looking for a vendor recomendation. Good luck in sorting this out with your body shop.

Make sure you check the "A" piller trim pieces (both sides) for scratches---->
as they have to be removed to R&R dash board.
My dash was replaced cuz of bubble and guess what? Yeap, they scratched the trim. Dealer replaced with new ones and now no problem.

Rental ???
This is why it may be a good idea to pay the extra 20 bucks a year and opt for the rental car coverage on your auto insurance. If your insurance carrier is paying for a rental, they have a stake in how fast your car is repaired. This way the body shop gets to explain the delay to the insurance company, legitimate or BS.
