Considering purchasing an 02' TT...Help
Hello. What type of problems should I be looking for in used (CPO) TT's? Since I am new to the Audi brand, I would like your help. I have heard mixed "things" about Audi's quality. Should I be very worried with the TT's electrical or mechanical quality? Thanks.

First off, be aware that forums like this are a great place for owners to find solutions to problems
and hence you may see a greater occurence of those problems than you were hoping. In reality, Audi reliability is as good as any of the other premium brands. It is not a honda or a toyota, and if you want that kind of reliability, get a camry 
As far as some standard trouble spots, I don't think there is anything major. Some cars had instrument cluster problems, some have suspension squeaks. MAF failure is common, although covered by Audi even if you are out of warranty. Be aware that maintenance is a key for this car. You MUST change the timing belt every 60k miles for piece of mind. A typical car may be 90-100k. If you are getting an Audi Assured warranty, it is very comprehensive, and in my opinion, worth the premium in price.

ArTT pretty much hit it - fwiw I bought a used '02 225 coupe with only 16K on the clock - I've put 10K mi. on in 8 months and experienced only the minor annoyance of the dreaded rear hatch surround "creak" which can be fixed. Everything else trouble free & great mpg to boot if you can keep control of your right foot.
