Default Misc ramblings...what I heard this weekend>>>

First, had two neighbors over to the garage...one wanted to see the TT and the other the lift. Both really liked the lift and one really liked the TT and the other was being polite saying he 'was warming up to it...' Now they both own new M3...one coupe other cab...one sold a Porsche the other a M5 to get the M3..and both said it was a big mistake...neither likes...actually both dislike the new M3...cheap finishes, huge maintenance problems, poor fit and cab owner said "more squeaks etc that spring beds in a ***** house..." Both going to dump the M3 and I just politely listened.

How things can change for a manufacturer...Honda announced that the new NSX is shelved and no new updates for the S2000...both are toast in the corporate model lineup...looks like Accord and minivans are their bread and butter vehicles...The 'dumb down' the Civic/Si, drop the Prelude and now this...'Honda' must be Japanese for 'snooze'
And the Lotus Elise forum is in a tizzy over another apparent delivery delay..
That's all for now...

Default did you see 2953's post otof?

M3s are way over tuned imo...and that's a shame about the s2000, I think I want to pic up a used one when i have some extra $$$...and here I thought toyota was the lame duck of the japanese car makers...

Default Curious - how much did cost factor into their opinions?

Like if they could've had all the options they chose, but at the entry-level price, would they have felt more satisfied? With the M3, it just seems to me like you've got to spend so much to get what's going to make you happy, which means any unexpected problems (or dissatisfaction in build quality) are are bound to leave a more sour taste in your mouth if they occur.

Honda has become a bloated company. They wanted to be like the big-3 years ago. Now they are.

Default Sure...spend more $ and expect more and when things go south>>>

things are then amplified. Just odd to see two M3 drivers expressing such major dislike for the vehicle...

Default First of all I cease to understand why do people buy M3 cab....unless they have a M3 coupe >>

in the garage! My friend got an M3 about 6 months ago... and I don't like his interior and finish...don't want to tell him that and hurt his feelings
