I had an interesting ride at Mid-Ohio with my instructor. Audi Club event, he had a 350Z.

Man, is it a great track car. Especially for the money! He had the sport(?) edition with the Brembo's and what not. He was passing everything we came up on. There were some Porsche Twin Turbos out there, but didnt' get close enough to tangle with them. He had OZ wheels and track tires, exhaust, and a cold air intake and I can't imagine needing anything else. It just flew. But he got into some mud..........

Luckily, we hit a tire cushioned wall, or it would have been very bad. I think we hit at about 50.

Was he taking an early turn-in on #7?

There was a mud puddle at track out for early turn-in, more of a straight shot to #8 for later turn-in, missing puddle. I took a look the next day, a fair size drop-off due to erosion, more than 4 inches if you edged off track there.
