noticed it the other day (man, I'm just full of the fun picture posts tonight, aren't I?)

the little green tab along the mirror edge - hmmmmm??!?

Isn't that the tab that unlocks the glass from the motorized backing?

I know when you change to the euro mirrors, you insert something in the bottom there, and then move the tab to unlock the panel. Seems like mine was black plastic, tho, not green...
