instead of going into the engine controller you go to radio

ive done it, had to clear a code from it. you can always do a search for all codes and it will tell you what # you have to get into.

the question didnt mention security codes

the assumption was made that "fault codes" were the codes in question. the vag can be used to detect and clear them.

hell man, no where in this thread does it say anything about security codes... i feel like a dick now. thats not right.
