has anyone here bought the non-xenon headlamps in order to replace the housings?
my headlight housings are pretty beat from 3 years of winter driving (i would've put a protective covering on them, but they were already pitted from the car's first owner), and i'm looking to replace them.
i had originally be put-off by the ridiculous price for the xenon housings, but recently i became aware of the much more affordable non-xenon housings that are also available. my question is: are there any gotchas here, or can i just swap all of the guts from my current xenon housings into the non-xenon cases?

just grab the non-xenon plastic lens and put it on your internals >>
no gotchas.
