New Tires For TT, your opinions please
Hey TT Forum,
I got about 13,500 on my 2003 TT. My tires are getting close to being replaced. I wanted to know what brand you recommend for my 17" wheels. I'm leaning toward the P Zero Nero. I currently have the Dunlop Sport 9090 OEM which have been pretty decent for me. Also, I have alot of that black stuff on my tail pipe aswell. What does that mean? I ask the dealer about it and they tell me it is the "carbon" in the engine. At 13,500 I figured it be gone. Anyone have any idea?

Looking for summer tires.Where I live there is very little winter. Also, what brand of oil do you guys recommend. I use the 0W-40 from Moble One...

Either Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s or Bridgestone S03s
I've had both and would buy either again. I like'd the turn-in response on the S03s better and they maybe had a bit better wet traction but the F1s are quieter, more comfortable and cheaper.

Michelin PS2's are very good, Pirelli PZero Rosso's are good when warmed up...
Stay away from Continental Sport Contact II's, never been satisfied. Dunlop P990's are full of drama but do not match Pirelli or Michelin, Yokohama Aviator Sport's were the best I've ever owned, and I've owned all of the above except the Michelins which I'm trying next.
