Who makes Audi OEM brake discs/rotors?

Who makes Audi OEM brake discs/rotors?

I once read somewhere that Zimmerman manufacture Audi discs/rotors, is that right?

I need new discs for our Audi A8 & TT but the OEM ones from the dealers are twice as much as Zimmerman or Brembo discs.

Are OEM ones better/worse/same as Zimmerman/Brembo?

Zimmermann is an OEM supplier but not sure if its for Audi. Dealer prices? you hafta ask why?

I've been running Zimmermann rotors front and rear for nearly 3 years, no problems. they are holding up well.

AFAIK, they are better than Audi OEM.

Are your rotors x-drilled/grooved or just regular ones?

Several..

Several companies make rotors for Audi/VW, including Zimmermann and ATE.

Genuine Audi/VW rotors are expensive, since they are the sole supplier for that genuine rotor.

OE replacement rotors are generally manufacturered to identical specs as the genuine product, but simply lack the Audi/VW logo, and/or Part number.

Both ATE and Zimmermann make very good quality rotors, as do Balo and Brembo.
