Hi Guys. Just failed my Smog chek because of "Evap Ctrl system Gross Leak Detected" What's that?
I'm heading to the dealr to have it checked out, but want to have an idea of what it is before I take it there. Any Suggestions? TIA.

I think the Evap system does not have to do with exhaust, it is >>
with the gases from the fuel tank. Check the conections at the evap canister. There is a valve (I dont have Bentley here at work) that controls this functionality.

I'm not 100% (dont remember)but I think the canister is >>
front, pass side behind the headlamp front of the power steering reservoir. It is a rounded on top black canister with a couple (?) of pipes running in/out. The valve in question is nearby I guess.
