RPM / Gear / Speed Correlation?

RPM / Gear / Speed Correlation?
Was wondering if there is a correlation table of RPM / Gear / Speed averages. Searched the forum archives, but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. At 80 MPH in 6th gear for a 225Q looks like I am running about 3,400 - 3,500 RPM range - highway driving. Is this sound right??
Just upgraded ECU with Sportec programming and I think that prior to the upgrade I was running lower RPMs 3,000 - 3,100 for same speed /gear. Does that make any sense?

Thanks! If I have a developing clutch problem (only have 24K miles on the car)would it start showing up / showing up more, with a ecu programming upgrade? I might be just paying more attention to the Tach post upgrade... probably should watch the road at 80

Part of the TT design includes that Tachometer and Speedometer needles running parallel to each other in top gear.
In my 180 hp 2000 TT QC when I was in 5th gear with my first instrument cluster, when the tach needle was straight up, so was the speedometer needle.
Same for my 2002 TT QC for the first instrument cluster and with the stock wheels.

You have access to all of the information you need
With the gear ratios, final drive and engine RPM you can calculate the speed the car would be running. Unfortunately I have no idea how the math works to calculate all of this

I asked that at an audi dealership one day. They didn't know what I was talking about>>>
"Gears? What does that mean?" I gave up. Anyway, I think you can find out the ratio in the manual...but I don't remember for sure...
