Heated seats not working except for one spot..and it is RED hot and smells when on

Car is under warranty for another month or so. Now the driver's side heated seat crapped out.

What is the fix for this..rebuild/fix the seat, or new seat?

Anyone else run into this?

The car is under warranty so let them fix the heater

had the same problem ....it was not the seat but the push button...>

Mine went just before my warranty ran out too and they fixed it by replacing the push button selector which they told me is a mini thermostat that has feedback from a thermocouple in the seat. Don't know if I believe it but my seat heater works again and the work order has time charged to removing the radio so they could replace the switch.
