Default Update on McKenna Service and costs...>>>>

So, they called and said the malfunctioning ABS light was due to a faulty Lateral Acceleration Sensor. Someone previously posted that's about $500 parts and labor. Then, they are replacing the gauge cluster as well. $1200 for the part, I think. Both covered by my ext. warranty. I have to pay my deductible which is $100. So, I'd say my ext. warranty basically paid for itself with these repairs. They still have to replace the sweating pressure hose under the car, only they couldn't see it. I might have to drive over and point it out to them. So, thusfar a very positive experience. We'll see how they care for my car when I go pick her up either tomorrow or Thursday. I'm just glad I didn't have to melt my checkbook in order to fix these things on my car with 80K miles.

Nope. $100 for the visit, not per item.
