does anyone know a good sounding cheap exhaust system?

I am wanting to put a exhaust system on my car but I dont want it to sound like those "rice burners" that are out there. I wish I could make it sound like a Mustang or Vette but I know that wont happen. If anyone has any ideas please tell me?

Loud go with the Neuspeed. Forge makes a great all around system. I got my exhuast here:

make sure you get a stainless steel system...

especially if you drive your car year round. The Neuspeed and Borla systems are both stainless, but I'm not sure about the Forge system. Some people go for a custom solution, but don't always get stainless. It's worth it just so you don't have to worry about it. I have had fully aluminized custom exhast systems and they just don't hold up. I had a Greddy Sport stainless exhaust system on my 300ZX that was so old it had been discontinued longer than I had owned the car and if you cleaned it up it looked as good as new.

Forge is all stainless.

people, if you use the search feature of the forum, you will find that these questions have been asked and answered many times over.....

Not that we don't love talking about our TTs, but you can really find a lot of fun info out there, then ask more directed or specific questions.

I got the Borla system, with a resonator. It certainly does NOT sound like a rice burner, but it doesn't have the low-end growl of a V8 either - you can give on that now, BTW. It does have a lower pitched rumble to it, and it can "pop" a little on downshifts. I personally like it...
