MK1 TT going out with a BANG!

Rumor: there will be one more model of the MK1 TT. It will have a 2.0 FSI Biturbo 280 hp. It's suppose to make it's debut at Geneva 2005... has anyone else heard such news? It would make sense... especially since the MK2 isn't suppose to deliver until 2007.

2 smaller turbos, each with own intercooler for less lag would be only reason I can think of

The more I think about it the less I think it is even physically possible.

The way the engine is positioned people already have a hard enough time making a larger downpipe, there's no room for a larger exhaust manifold or a second turbo. Perhaps a single turbo 2.0 FSI motor? That engine is being certified for the US in the A3 anyway so that might help them get around emissions but I think its only a 200hp unit.
