Just changed battery- did search for tips and couldn't find a optima so I got a group 47....
which is a direct drop in- so I thought. I don't remember post mentioning "notches" in the TT battery that may not be in the replacement. So if anyone is putting in a new 47 battery look at the TT battery and compare it to the new one. You may need a notch in the center of the back (small saw, large flat screwdriver and hammer, all work well) and you may need to remove part of the lip on each side of the front of the battery. Otherwise everything went OK (as I nurse my sore knuckles).
