Default Yet another suspension question for the gurus...

I'm planning on the Bilstein/Eibach combo for the spring. I'm currently looking for 18 inch wheels - I have 17s currently. What I want to know is if I install the suspension and have the 17s on and then finally find a set of 18s, will it be okay to switch over? Is there anything to worry about with a bigger wheel? Alignment issues, camber adjustments, anything like that?

I'm also getting the Neuspeed 19mm rear sway bar. Should I do anything to the front?

Thanks to gurus everywhere!

Will if you incorporate spacers or a wider offset. 10" rims exaggerated my already negative camb

Default If the 18's are heavier >>>

then you may find the Eibach's not doing a good job controlling the motion of the wheels. From my experience with Eibach Pro-Kit springs on my GTI VR6, they were too soft and bottomed out often.

Not sure if that's the case with the TT, but just wanted to pass along the info.

Default sorry, but one of the reasons there's so much confusion on this topic ...

is that people do a search and find replies stating both "yes" and "no", and don't know what to believe.
