I will break my silence to say that the USGP today was one of the saddest days in F1 history.

Short of the day that we lost Aryton, I cannot recall a worse day. I know that the FIA was doing what was fair and that the Michelin teams were doing what was safe, but it seems there could have been some suitable resolution. What an absolute farce!!! I would not be surprised at all if this spells the beginning of the end for the USGP. F1 will lose alot of US fans over this and they will not continue to run the race for 50,000 die hards like me. Like I said, sad sad day in F1 and racing history period. I am still just...speechless!

I know, but think about it this way, Michelins race and pilots died. What would be worst?

Ralf already crashed.

I agree. That is why I said that the teams made the right call, and..

the FIA could not make exceptions to the rules because that would be unfair to the Bridgestone drivers. However, there seems that some solution was out there that could have saved that race and avoided the black eye they now have. Nobody won anything yesterday.
