Had a Mercedes SLK chase me down...
Not the latest version of the SLK, but the original model. A traffic light turned green and I was in the mood to stomp on the gas and do a non-environmentally friendly quick launch.
The fellow in the Mercedes was about to turn onto the street I was on and had to brake abruptly to avoid my 3.2 TTR, which was moving pretty good.
I jumped onto I-5 south and I see the Mercedes guy flying seemingly trying to catch up to me. Once he caught up in traffic, he pulled directly alongside, shadowing me by matching speed and staring directly at me.
I was expecting a dirty look, a middle finger or even a pistol (this *is* southern California), but instead the guy gave me a huge smile and a big thumbs up!
His reaction wasn't what I was expecting, but I'll take that over a 9mm any day! :-)

Had a new 350 SLK harass me yesterday. Dink.
Just because my 3.2 exhaust note revs a little up through second into third on surface streets isn't an invite to screwin' 'round in heavy San Francisco traffic. The best part was letting him speed up the next stop light as I coasted in riding 2nd then zipping past him just as the light changed and seeing him have to do a standing start all over again. It's all in how you know your neighborhood.

haha you almost landed a cap.... just like the spunky senior that got me.........!
pulling into a PA turnpike booth,Had an old lady show me the middle finger, and then continue to drop F bombs all over me. As a respectful young kid, i laughed at her seemingly making her about 4 times as angry. i know i wasnt racing anyone like you were, but my 95 Saturn with 115 HP wouldve smoked her corsica.
