Oil Usage ? My low oil pressure light came on yesterday the car needed a qt. Oil chaged 2k ago

Scared the hell out of me. I normally check my oil but seeing the car was recently serviced I did not bother.

how much should it eat ?

Engine has 34k on it. Its a 2001 225

I typically have to add a quart between changes, some don't, every car is different.

And mine started to use, right around the mileage yours has. It does not leak, just burns it. somehow.

Chances are they didn't fill to the full mark...(slackers!)...>

Top it up and monitor.

63K miles and not a drop between 10K changes.

My engine runs great.....

smooth... lots of power...but has used a litre or so every 2500 miles since new.

every car is different, I haven't used a single drop in 4,500.
