Rough Idling on 2002 TT 225
I have a 2002 TT 225 with 20,000 miles. When it's idling, regardless of the engine's temp., the engine pulsates. It dips to 500 rpm but then catches itself and revs to 1500 rpm. Has anybody experienced this?

I too had this problem...
brought it to Audi, they couldn't figure it out.
I don't drive the car much, and so I left it in the garage over the winter, and this spring/ summer, the issue seems to have gone. Mind you that I did change to a FMIC over the winter, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

same problem here...
But the problem appeared only after I Revoed and the DV diaphragm teared. But now even after replacing it,and getting back to stock ECU program, the rough idling is still present. It is most prominent when tank is half full or less and when the weather is cold. I have no idea what it could be and Audi techs haven't found anything and no codes or thrown.

This is a gasoline problem -->
At seasonal changeover from high (winter) to low (summer) vapor pressure you will get this issue. The car is just sensitive to the volitility of the fuel. I'm going to guess that you have fuel in there purchased a while back or recent gas and the ambient temps are lower than normal at the moment.
Change your fuel supplier and see if this persists. The varying RPM from 500 to 1500 is the overshoot the ECU is using to keep the engine running. ECU's have a hard time learning the volitility of fuel so they tend to do this, it's called RPM hunting.

When you say rough idling do you mean -->
rpm hunting? As in cycles up to 1500 rpm and down to 500 or a smaller variation around 760 or simply a rough feel to the engine?
How long ago (miles and time) did the DV get repaired and you go back to stock settings on Revo?
