Ok here is the deal...

I have an extra Extrude Hone Intake Manifold (my TT original one) that was used during the Group Buy as a "laboratory mouse". EH wanted to take it to the maximum in the name of finding max flow & during the process a hole was done to one of the runners. They replaced it with a new one, but they sent me also the damaged one. They repaired it but still have a tiny hole in the runner, that CAN be repaired. It was gasket port-matched also.
These are the numbers before and after the process that they sent me... Take a look...

Sold one on vorter for 150 without hone

 

first repair. Wopuldn't futher heating and such weaken it more?

 

Engine comparment heat wouldn't deform Cast aluminum...Heck, the 3.2 is made from plastic!
Should easy to seal. EH is a good mod!

Okay, then how did the hole get there initially?

 

It's not the same... Is an extra one that needs repair.
