Anyone replacing a timing belt in SF Bay area soon.

I would like to check it out to see if it's something I could do on my own. I don't mind being a gofer. Thanks.

I'm at 105k, did it at 62k last time, so it's coming up. I was thinking about doing this..

last time I paid $1192 for t-belt+waterpump+serp. belt at Carlsen in Palto Alto.

Stevenscreek Audi wanted $1600 for the same service and Livermore Audi was in between

What's the divide between parts and labor?

Might be cheaper if you bought the ECS kit with the metal impeller and brought them to your installer.
