RSTT from PPI need advice on what to do (long)
I won the RSTT front bumper at TT-East. PPI has made me an offer. They will do the rear bumper plus paint (concours condition) on the whole car, it will be on display at Waterfest for $2400. What should I do??

Is it the carbon inserts on the rear or plastic? either way it would look great!!
You would certainly have a very unique TT with the whole kit on the car. If $$ is no issue I'd say do it.. ask them to throw in the rear spoiler also since they'll be showing your car!

for that price...its a great deal....concours condition is high end>>>
i would request that they use some additional hardener in the paint to slow the pitting problem of the soft german paint down.....and plenty of clearcoat too...

Tom, all things considered...
if you want to do the look, I'd say go all out front and rear and complete the look. They will likely do a better job than anyone else (paint and install) because they'll want it to look spot-on.
Some people will HATE it... Some people will LOVE it... And some won't give a cr@p either way...
It's all about how YOU feel about it! Even if 8-out-of-10 AW/TTers wouldn't do it (BUT you like it), then who gives a rip? It's your car. Got a gut feel? Go with it.
That said, don't do it just 'cause you won it, either... If you don't like it, there's no doubt someone out there who'd take it off your hands.
