How does this work? You need a SPS3 unit for a specific ECU # right?

Only the software is specific to the ECU....VW & Audi SPS switches are the same...

The software resides in the ECU, and the SPS just allows you to switch between different modes. However, I do believe they came out with a new updated SPS3 switch recently. The settings on the SPS3 I just got seem different than the settings people talk about in older threads. I don't have separate low boost and high boost modes. It is all just called boost, with nine setting levels.
