I've been wanting to race the TT up to the mountains, but the Rover is much bigger and more comfy. Isn't the winter tough on your paint? I can imagine all the paint chips i'll get on my black car from all the crap on the roads!

Weird thread....
The weather is tough on everything. But the bottom line is that you take care of your stuff and it will be OK. I've had black cars mostly. I always do a clear bra or get a bra for bad weather and road trips.
You have to accept that when you use things, they show wear. You can mitigate in some fashion, but in the long run you can't beat mother nature.
The TT is my only car, my wife drives the A4 every day. I don't have a "Rover" for weather days. But the bottom line is that I'd run the TT anyway, because...
