Seat Rattle--'01 Roadster

I have read many complaints regarding nuisance rattles on TT Roadster seats. Seems a bit vague as to specific cause and possible solutions. I can easily reproduce rattle sound by simply hitting side of passenger seat. Hard to believe this is truly a design flaw without a solution. Noise is quite annoying if no passenger is on-board to "anchor" down the seat.

Any further insight b4 going to Dealer is appreciated. I just got this vehicle. It has low mileage and has been impeccably maintained.

Bungee cord the passenger seat from the head rest slide mechanics back to the passenger roll bar. When held firmly, the seat should not rattle.

back seat all the way and crank out the rake til it's tight to the rear wall
