-OR-
should I get the standard remanufactured MAF, and if so what is the part number?
BTW, I have a 2001 TT Q 225.

i run the VW one with zero problems

others will disagree though.

I am running a 2.0 in my 2001 225. I would probably get an ECS refurb next, though.

or the car just running like crap

i think that the VW ones work on 225's but not the 180's, if you do a search you'll find lots of info. i've been using mine for about 4k miles without any problems.

The OEM reman one seems to work a little better
Suffix is 461EX. This graph with the reman from ECS vs VW (and on my car which is Frankensteined a bit...:-)
