Default quick question re: VTDA:: does anyone know what size bolt is used to attach the bracket to the

existing mounting point in the engine bay? I swapped intakes temporarily, and I need to secure the vtda in my car..

thanks!!

Default I'm sure Dan received one with the intake

but we did a temporary swap, and the bolt is being used to secure his boost machine...

thanks Steve.

Default I did get one with the VTDA, but that was the one on the boost machine, Nikhil, did you clean your

filter recently? About 30-40 minutes after swapping filters I threw a CEL. I'm going to VAG-COM it tomorrow to find out what it is, but I've heard freshly oiled K&N's can mess with the MAF. Car runs great, I just have an annoying light now...

Default You might have over oiled...>>

After cleaning and drying, it really doesn't take much. Just a light mist spray along the pleat lines. The oil gradually migrates through the gauze.

Default Well, then it's either related to my unexplained limp mode from 2 weeks ago or from

pinching my boost machine hose between the stress bar and hood when we swapped intakes. Nothing else I can think of. It will be helpful when I can get the code pulled.
