Help! I need a temporary fix while I order the top and find someone to install it...

everyone down in S.FL is booked repairing vehicles damaged due to the hurricanes.

I need to keep this thing together for a least a month max so that I can get it done.

I was thinking about using JB Weld but you guys might have a better idea

You also need to keep it still while it cures, and if at all possible find a way to clamp the parts

together. The "Standard" clearly should not be used, as it "starts" to cure in 48 hours! Fast says full cure in 24 hours, which is more doable...

I don't think standard comes in black though...

cure time may be problematic....I use this stuff on VTDA ends and ****'s....They do have to sit for 2 days before I can handle them further..7 days to full cure.

If just used for a filler/connector it should be fine. If you need to pull stuff together, than no....

I used some on a seam on my Miata top sucessfuly...
