Are 2006 TT's being produced or released at all?
I'm considering getting a new TT.
Either 2005 or 2006 right before the 2007's are released.
I'm trying to catch one when the dealership will be most the desperate to get rid of them.
How should I time this?
I'm thinking of trying to grab one the last day of this month at a substantial discount.
After all the things my car has been through, I am very wary of buying any car used.

there aren't any in california or the northeast
possibly left over 2005's though, which i would imagine even at this point you would be able to get a really good deal on. try searching for new audi tt's on autotrader.com, i bet you will find some.

yes, I'm afraid that's already the case...I want another silver or variant of that color....
TighTT has a dark silver color I wouldn't mind having. I think it's called Avus which only comes with the ALMS coupe

What matters is how long the dealer has had the car in its book.
Does not really matter what time of year. Just look for the TT that has been sitting around at the dealer the longest and they would be egar to sell it becase they are paying interest on the car and it is not making them money and it is taking up room which could be held by a newer car.

I think you are too late-just searched Audi Inventory Management for you
I searched for 2006 TT roadsters. In the whole US, there are about 25 un-sold cars. There are about a dozen cars in production at present, scheduled to be ship-loaded on December 21, some of those are sold orders.
I think you should have bought one a few months ago when they were offereing 0.9%. This is when most of the remaining cars were sold.
As part of Audi's on-going program to decrease total cost of ownership by increasing residual value, they have done a very effective job of eliminating discounting at the dealer retail level.
2006 TT production was very low. I don't think you are going to find many bargains in new 06 TT's.
Red Tag sale is still going on over at Chevrolet!
