Need a new bumper. Thoughts please!
Alright so over the weekend my front bumper was hit, and it's far far beyond repair.
I drive an 01 Coupe, 225. Also in need of new fenders (passenger side is a must, but the drivers side needed replaced anyways)
My question is. Where do I find one, and what are my options? I've been told by some that I should go with one that comes on the German TT's.
I honestly have no idea where to find the bumper, and what one I should go with.
I know this is very vague, but any ideas, thoughts, or recommendations would help.

Lots of talk of front bumper upgrades. First off, the best place is usually the dealer since shipping is a pain and $$$$ for such a large item. The "German" front bumper I'm assuming means the "3.2" bumper that comes only on the 3.2 cars here in the states. I think it is a very worthwhile upgrade to a great looking bumper that is still Audi parts and is not made of fiberglass.
Other than that you can browse some of the usual TT shops and see what they have but most are just lips that go over the stock bumper or they're made of fiberglass.
Just be prepared, the stock old style bumper cover is about $400 from the dealer I believe. The upgrade to the 3.2 bumper is going to cost you about $1250 by the time you figure in the bumper and it's assorted grills n pieces.

Either go to your dealer and order the body parts, source them at mailorder places like Worldimpex, get them from a salvage outfit, Or look for parts on Ebay. This stuff is not that expensive, unless you decide to go with the 3.2 front bumper (which you may be referring to as the "german" part...It's not). That's about 3 times more money ($1-1,200). Fenders are pretty cheap I think...$140 rings a bell, but I may be wrong..

I have been searching, but figured I would ask to.
Thanks for the input. I have tried eBay already with very little luck. I'll try searching for salvage yards around me (Utah). Any other recommendations?

Does anyone have any online sites that they've purchased body parts from and had a good experience? That's mostly what I'm looking for. Cheap and/or reliable.
