Help, tachomoter stopped working! Out of warranty...
All of a sudden my Tach won't work anymore. I did the 10/15 fuse thing I read about here, and it made it move a little, but barely.
Anything I can do?
What does this cost to fix?
Everything else works fine. I am at 60K miles.

Watch Ebay - the only one out there now is metric, but they come up
I also had a lazy tach that was fixed with a new battery. I don't see why not....
I mean besides the fact that it's a common failure item, that there were a ton of revisions specific to VIN ranges/engine codes, that the mileage can't be reprogrammed once set, and of course in 02+ there's that little minor thing with the security feature, whatever it's called, i-don't-care-since-mine-doesn't-have-it-thingy.
Besides all that, a used one should be fine. ;-)
