interior parts have arrived -- phase 3 of the interior work commences tomorrow
this is everything (i think) that's needed to convert everything above the interior beltline to black/charcoal. specifically, all of the plastics will be black (as per the parts below), and all of the black cloth on the parts below will be reupholstered to be charcoal alcantara (to match the inserts on the quattro sport seats).
for pieces that are strictly cloth (no plastics), i am reusing the what's already in my car. i'm also installing the 2002+ garage door opener in the process, hence the need for a new headliner (otherwise, i'd just have the old one reupholstered.
i'm also converting the door pull handles and e-brake handle to full leather, since i'm not satisfied with the riso e-brake handle and i do not want to have only the door pulls in carbon fiber. (my original gripe with the oem leather e-brake handle was that the leather was too new and didn't match -- but as part of doing this work, all of my interior leathers will be replaced anyway.)
once this is done, i will finally install the quattro sport seats. then it's on to the seat heaters. fun fun.

for what you've spent, cruised around a year, shipped it back in it's own stateroom, sold the one you've got, and still made money on the whole deal *:-)
