I was just reading the over the APR stg III kit for 225 and its only for the non-VVT 00-03,

but I have a late 03 with VVT. I guess the question is will the TTs with VVT make more power? Or what difference does the VVT make.

VVT is an emissions thing on the Audi...>>

Not a horsepower thing like Vtec on Hondas...

Don't count on it..

everything is fricken different and more complicated for no reason other than - well let's make some changes........UGH :-)

Well it's more than just the engine.......

it's just that I figured some of the gremlins like instrument cluster failures and such would have been taken care of. Also - my car is running better in stock mode with the new turbo than in GIAC mode. I still can't seem to get more than 17psi under load.

I was told that it would be too costly to develope a III+ kit for the non-VVT, even though the regular stage III for the non-VVT can make 340 hp on 100 Oct. If I recall, Stage III+ is for the VVT motors, more hp on pump gas, you should be happy. Now that I look at your post though, you are talking about the 225.
