There is no new R32 here now; the Mk 5 R32 on sale in Europe is DSG or manual;

here, you can buy a used Mark 4 R32 manual only. We will probably be getting an R36, however, in 2007. 300 hp, 3.6l VR6.

That is correct. There were also 4-door DSG models available abroad. (MkIV)

No R32 in USA yet for new model...

Previous model in USA was 6-speed only. You may be able to find one used. I think there was one at VW on Broadway in Oakland earlier in the week or maybe last week.

2006 GTI 200 hp is available with DSG if DSG is needed for friend.
