As you know, I had SO3s on my 18"s ... you might consider Toyo Proxes T1-Rs ...

F1s. I had a set of S03s and I'm now on my second set of F1s
You lose a bit of turn in response with the F1s compared to the S03s but in return you get a softer and quieter ride. Both of them have huge amounts of grip wet or dry. The F1s take some time to break in but I really like the feel once they do.

i've had both and prefer the f1s...
stickier and quieter!
of course, i have my dunlop winter tires on right now (and a good thing too, as we're supposed to get a foot of snow in central md today/tonight).

Hmmm... softer ride? is it that noticable? The GF complains about the harshness of the ride...
but then what do you expect for a sport car on a not so smooth mountain road. How does the wear compare?
Need to pull the trigger ASAP... toe is FUBAR and I have worn through the inside corners... very unsafe to drive right now....
