Ever get in your car and it's just "ON"? Not the ignition turned on variety but the performance
based version? Where it just seems as if the Audi Gods are smiling down upon you and the Stars and Planets are aligned for you? Got in my car this AM on a warmer than yesterday sort of day and I could just tell going to my appt across town that the car was stronger. Turbo spooled up without the usual DV quirkiness and the car pulled STRONGLY through the entire rpm band without any hesitation.... seemed to want a workout. Some spirited driving over to the appt and when I was going home decided to take her the long way on some new back road explorations.... found some great stuff heading out toward
Princeton. Anyway, it was a fantastic experience running her hard up through the gears. I'm just curious as to why one day she feels a bit flat or slightly sluggish and the other she can feel like a total rock star?! No changes were made to the boost machine or other mod appartus..... the past week has been colder but not more than 10-15 degrees so I would figure she'd run stronger on those cold days..... only diff was a refuel yesterday off the turnpike - was their gas better juice than I have been filling up with locally even though the octane is similar? Guess my car likes Sunoco 93 best. SWEET indeed! Now to cough up a lung for a tank of race gas to see what that does!
