Fuel leak issue - anyone else have a leak before?
I just started to smell gasoline inside my car, and then last night when I parked in the garage, the stench of fuel was overbearing!
Not sure if anyone else has had fuel leaks, but if so, where was it?
Just looking for someone that might have had the same issue, I used to love the smell of gas, but not like this!

Check the fuel rail>>>
which is under the middle engine cover....a loose or cracked hose on the pressure side (bottom) will push a lot of gas out.

Will do again but it seems as though there is
nothing leaking there, but I did notice a leak there the other day, I just cut the hose so I could have a new connection and re-attached it with a new clamp, but now it is dry there - still confused so far - I would really hate to bring my car into a shop right now, but I might have to as I have no tech in my shop yet, at least not until we open!

I wouldn't drive that car another second, considering the damage area you reported..
your leak could be located somewhere near or in the engine bay versus the filter/sender area that everyone is telling you to investigate. It would make sense considering the location of damage your car is high risk for engine fire or even worse.
