? for UNeekTT & others w/ white faced gauges
I have one for the main cluster and am debating on installing it. Is it normal for there to be a "cutout" on the back of the insert around the 80mph mark? It isn't actually cut, just has a different (white-ish, compared to blue, elsewhere) finish on the back. Appears to be intentional, as it encompasses the entire graphics of the noon position occupied by the 80 and hash marks. Shining light through it reveals a slightly lower luminosity than the rest of the gauge face. Is this intentional or a defect? Also, in general, how do you like it? Does it read well in all lighting conditions? TIA!
