Just got back from Boone, NC in the TT. Have I said how much I love Quattro???

We headed over around 9AM to get in a little snow four wheelin'. Boone, is about 80 miles form Kingsport.

For the most part, the roads were fine. So, after lunch at the Mellow Mushroom, we headed to the back roads. Both cars did fine in about 6 inches of snow. Not bad for summer tires.

Here in TN, at least where I am, there has been no need for winter tires for the past few years.

Oh hell... lets not start this again.....

For the record, we're halfway thru the winter, and I HAVEN'T corded my tires, killed anyone, or even slid off the road. NOT EVEN ONCE!

just let it go....

Hey I've eaten at that Mello Mushroom in Boone.

One of my best friends (old college roommate) lives up there and owns the Our Daily Bread Deli right downtown. Boone is a great place, but I take the jeep when I go up there in the winter.
