Wheel spacer questions
I just finished over the weekend the KW v2 install. I have the car sitting about an inch lower than stock in the front and about .75" in the rear. On the front my wheels have about 3/16" from the rim to the coilover. I want to space them out for obviously clearance issues, but also to aid in the lowered look.
My wheels are 8.5" in width with 225/40/18 rubber on it. I want to space out the rims as far as possible for strut clearance & fender clearance. I was thinking of 12.5mm in the front & 20mm in the rear. Does anyone see an issue going this route? Also does anyone know what size rubber I can go to on an 8.5" rim? Any particular brand spacer I should go with/avoid?
